Robin Hill Falconry - A treat for all Island visitorsOur Falconry displays are now famous the Island over. So many visitors telling us that we do the best displays they have ever seen! With spectacular aerial displays at 11.30am and 2.45pm, set against the stunning backdrop of our beautiful downland scenery, there probably won’t be a better place to see these birds in action in the whole of the UK. Steve Hain, our full time falconer, and his team will be on hand all day long to tell you about the hawks, owls, falcons and kestrels he will have on display. You can ask questions and even get a photo taken with a bird on your arm should you wish. The displays allow you to see these beautiful birds in action, diving from a hundred or so meters in the air, and swooping within inches of the spectators heads...a real crowd pleasing experience. Steve and his team are experts and have worked with the birds for years. There isn’t a better display you can see while you are on the Isle of Wight...plus you get the rest of Robin Hill for nearly the same price as others charge for one display! There will be a small marquee near the falconry arena so that even on wet days the birds can still be seen. Some of the regular birds on show will include:
Please note that not all the birds will be on display everyday and some special new arrivals may appear through the year! *Falconry demonstrations may have to be cancelled in very windy or wet weather, please check on arrival if the weather is bad. An hour’s dedicated tuition with our Falconers with a certificate for only £12.50 Lessons available at 12.45pm every Sunday outside of school holidays....please call for availablity at other times.
