African Adventure
New for 2008: African Adventure, a great new adventure playground for all the family to enjoy…so come and see us soon!
Robin Hill re-opens its park gates on Monday 17th March for the new 2008 season. We’ve been hard at work this winter putting in a fabulous new adventure playground, themed as an African tribal village near to our lower duck pond.
Costing nearly £200,000, “African Adventure” features lots of high-rise towers, Giraffe swings, a Cheetah Zip wire, some great slides and adventure play equipment with some wild animals thrown in for good measure!
Park Manager Darren Cool said,
“This a great new play feature for our family visitors, the kid will love it. The Robin Hill team have spent lots of time getting the theming to look really good and we are pleased with what we have done. I’m sure it will be very popular and help continue Robin Hill’s reputation as being the Island’s top family visitor attraction. I hope lots of Islanders will come and check it out over the Easter school holidays in April”
The park has also moved its Tots playground to be nearer the Oasis café and added a few extra features, plus there are new thatched shelters at Carp quay for extra cover in damp or showery weather.
The real fun kicks off over Easter weekend with our Mad Easter Egg Dash, now famous for being one of the Islands best Easter events. It takes place on Easter Sunday and Monday at 12 noon both days…and there’s just loads of chocolate eggs to find. Kids love it and there’s usually a prize for all competitors!
Our popular Membership package is now available again, ideal for local residents who visit Blackgang Chine and ourselves lots of times each year. There are lots of money-off vouchers and discounts included plus invitations to members only summer events at both parks, including the Robin Hill Summer BBQ!!
