Friday is a great day to come to Robin Hill in the school holidays! There are lots of extra activities the kids can join in for free including camp building, mini-beast safaris and even learning to light a fire in the wild without any matches. It's all included in the entry price...and a great way to use your free returns!
Bagpipes, Scottish drummers & dancers galore in this musical spectacle which is included in the Robin Hill admission price on this day...but be sure to throw some money in the collection buckets to support one of the Isle of Wight’s favourite and most worthy charities The Isle of Wight Hospice. Please come and support this new and event if you can. It's a real competition between rival teams...the Island has never seen (or heard) anything quite like it! Also see the Isle of Wight's own bagpipe playing legend Dr.Keiron Cooney and his piper friends amaze you with a concert unlike no other! Bring camping chairs and picnic blankets if you do not want to sit on the grass.
There will Highland singing and dancing as well as the chance to sample some Highland food and even some whisky (if you are old enough!). There will be a licensed bar for refreshments on the show field...and don't miss the mass parade of bands at 4.30pm where all five pipe & drum bands take to the arena at the same time.... a spectacular finish to the day!
