The electric woods: "The Autumn Aurora"
In addition to Robin Hill's outstanding day offering, we will now stay open through the transition between day and night to bring you the Electric Woods: Autumn Aurora every day from Fri 20th October to Sat 3rd November. With a fantastic offering of illuminated attractions, the stunning woodland walks and live entertainment. Come and marvel at our park and ancient woodland in the daytime... and night time.
See the intense golden colours of our award-winning country park's autumnal woodland transformed with even more stunning light and sound. The trees and gardens literally glow with rich warm colours making for a breath taking and unforgettable evening experience that is the Autumn Aurora.
"The woodlands are stunning enough in the daytime at this time of year, but when lit at night, visitors can’t fail to be impressed. The lights have just been used during Bestival to create their popular Ambient Forest installation and in October our own visitors will now get a chance to experience these for themselves”. - Darren Cool, Park Manager.
The woods will also host fire jugglers and acoustic music each night at the woodland ponds as well additional children’s entertainment and an amazing evening owl show in the park’s Woodland Bowl. These evenings will also feature a scary Halloween trail in the lower part of the woods for anyone that’s brave enough as well as having hot mulled cider and fruit juice for visitors to enjoy during the evenings. It will be one of the best experiences of the year and a great time to visit the park, no matter what age you are.
Woodland Bowl Timetable for Half Term Evening Entertainment:
Suitable for all ages. We recommend you bring a torch as woodland paths can be cast in shadows during these evenings.
Park opens 10am-9pm, 'Electric Woods' lighting from 5pm (or when suitably dark). Not all park attractions open after 5pm, some areas will be closed for safety. Rides that remain operational into the evening will close at 8.30pm, are subject to 30 minutes closures at lunch and dinner times and are subject to minimum height restrictions (see our rides page for details). Children under 14 years must be accompanied by and adult when taking the 'Halloween Trail'. Standard 7 days return policy applies to all tickets.
