Robin Hill presents: 'Spirit of the Orient'
Celebrate the coming of Chinese New Year with a special series of openings of Robin Hill and the Electric woods during this February half term, 16th-24th Feb 2013, a memorable day and evening out for all the family.
Spirit of the Orient half term entry tickets includes unlimited 9 day of returns day and evening, so people can come back again and again if they want to.

By day Robin Hill’s mix of fun rides, owl & falconry shows and imaginative play including the parks new 4d motion cinema experience.
By night see an array of lanterns, flags and features come to life through the parks woodland in a spectacular blaze of light, sound and colour to capture the “spirit of the orient”. Look out for the stunning “Golden Oriole” bridge with its cascading golden water and terracotta guards as well as enjoying other oriental themed evening entertainment:
- Chinese Lion dances
- Fire performers
- Join in the giant dragon procession around the woodland paths
- Chinese tea sampling from 4pm in the tea house
- Firecrackers
- Red envelope Lucky dip, with cash prizes
- Kung fu cinema/demos (tbc)
- Chinese menu at the Woodland pond Grill (3-8pm)
- Free fortune cookie for all* first time visitors (*subject to availability)
Woodland Amphitheatre Programme
The 4d motion cinema, Colossus swing boat & Cows Express will remain open until 7.45pm each night along with some illuminated play areas
