Robin Hill is a beautiful venue set in glorious Isle of Wight Countryside and woodland. The park is a wonderful venue to see wild birds, animals and plants at all times of the year. The Robin Hill downland is part of the Islands Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and harbours many rare species from Red Squirrels to Dormice. Our woodland has many unusual trees not often found in England.…..you don’t usually find a Californian Coastal Redwood growing in this part of the world…..you do at Robin Hill!
Every Friday in August we are holding our “Really Wild Fridays”…a day when you can come and get hands on with our nature and wildlife. There will be lots of fun and informative activities to take part in and it promises to be a whole lot of fun. Nature experts from the IW2000 Trust will be leading the day with activities like butterfly spotting and pond dipping to mini beast safari’s all on offer to all visitors who want to take part, so don’t miss out!
